Pizza (216)
Our Story
After attending pizza school in New York City, owner Johnny Lis first opened the doors to Pizza (216) in downtown Cleveland in 2015 as a small, Neapolitan-style pizza joint with handmade pies, the best Buffalo wings around, and an amazing bar.
To survive in the competitive restaurant and pizza scene downtown, Pizza (216) needed to stand out to make its mark. It became evident very quickly, however, that the thin crust, hand-tossed pies, the house-made sauce, and locally sourced toppings that became the signature for creations like The King and Pierogi had guaranteed that Pizza (216) was here to stay.
Now, Pizza (216) Kitchen + Taphouse looks to complement its award-winning pizza and wings by expanding the menu to include "craveably crafted" salads (all dressing made in-house), handhelds, and appetizers, weekly entrée specials, and the largest craft beer selection around. Pizza (216) is known for its signature beer events, so Cleveland beer connoisseurs, get ready to drink some memorable suds at your new favorite spot!
Pizza (216) Kitchen & Taphouse’s facelift includes a modern Italian feel, featuring textiles and fixtures that transport you to the streets of Milan, Florence, Naples, and Rome.
We are thrilled to introduce all of our amazing changes. Between the vibrant downtown restaurant and craft beer scene, Cleveland has seen amazing transformations and we are excited to be a part of that transformation and know that Pizza (216) Kitchen + Taphouse will continue to be a destination restaurant in the East Fourth District.
Pizza (216 Kitchen + Taphouse is located at 401 Euclid Ave. Whether it be before your next downtown concert or sporting event, or just for a night out on the town with the family or that special someone, Pizza (216) Kitchen + Taphouse will be delighted to enhance your evening with great food, great drink and a friendly atmosphere.
